The BENETEAU First 36 is the result of world-class collaboration, led by Kristian Hajnšek, CTO of Seascape, whose deep expertise in race-grade construction helped bring high-performance technology to the production racer-cruiser market. Working in close partnership with the BENETEAU team, Hajnšek has championed an engineering-first approach that ensures exceptional strength, weight efficiency, and speed.
To elevate the design further, an international team of elite naval architects and designers—each a passionate sailor—contributed their vision and skill. This collective expertise has resulted in a yacht that is not only fast and responsive under sail but also intelligently crafted for real-world cruising comfort and usability.

INTERIOR DESIGN
Breaking from convention, the BENETEAU First 36 is equipped with a full-sized navigation station—ideal for both offshore planning and as a functional home office at sea. Each of the three cabins is flooded with natural light and fresh air, thanks to dual portlights, while sectional indirect lighting (including a red night-sailing mode) enhances comfort and visibility after dark.
Inside, the spacious layout rivals larger yachts, with interior volume comparable to the iconic First 40.7. The First 36 is thoughtfully designed for three-cabin cruising, offering full-sized double berths that are easily accessible, along with a cleverly engineered head for maximum convenience.
The standout feature is the generous galley, centered around a large fridge with a removable cutting board—the largest galley in its class. A foldable, removable saloon table creates a central corridor, ensuring safe, easy movement below deck, whether you're entertaining or underway.
